The PM² Project Management Methodology has gained significant traction across Europe for its practical and easy-to-adopt project management approach, designed for both the public and private sectors. With the publication of these new translations, Spanish- and Italian-speaking professionals and organisations now have direct access to this essential resource, promoting greater alignment with European project management standards.
Spanish Translation
The Spanish translation of version 3.1 is based on the translation of the PM² Project Management Guide 3.0.1, which was prepared by a group of volunteers from the PM² community in Spain. These volunteers possess extensive knowledge and experience in project management across various professional sectors.
To support readers and users, the Spanish Guide includes an additional appendix containing a bidirectional glossary of English-Spanish and Spanish-English terms. This feature facilitates the identification of original terms and their translations.
Italian Translation
The Italian translation was made possible through the valuable contributions of Open PM² Community volunteers, bringing together Italian project management experts and professionals.
Italian project managers and stakeholders now have a valuable tool at hand, empowering them to work more effectively within EU frameworks and achieve high standards in project execution and management.
This updated version (PM² Guide v3.1) introduces refined tools, methodologies, and best practices that enhance collaborative project management while ensuring compliance with EU regulations. With the availability of the Italian and Spanish version, project managers in Italy, Spain, and Latin America can more easily adopt and apply the PM² principles, processes, and tools, facilitating its implementation in both local projects and EU-funded initiatives.
The translations of the PM² Guide underscores our commitment to providing multilingual resources, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility across diverse linguistic backgrounds. This publication is expected to further enrich the EU’s project management landscape, equipping professionals to meet the growing demands of a variety of projects with a recognised methodology.
