In an era where effective project management is crucial for success across industries, the recent release of the PM² Project Management Guide v3.1 in French marks yet another small milestone. This translation makes the PM² methodology more accessible to French-speaking professionals throughout Europe and around the globe. This will allow them to align their projects with European standards and best practices.
With the addition of French, alongside existing Italian, Polish, Portuguese, and Spanish translations, the PM² Project Management Methodology Guide v3.1 becomes the most translated version of the methodology.
In addition, the Methodologies Office is actively working on upcoming translations in German, Greek and Hungarian, further broadening the guide's accessibility. This emphasis on multilingualism ensures that language barriers do not impede the adoption of the methodology.
The French version of the PM² Guide v3.1 represents a collaborative effort by a dedicated team of French-speaking project management experts within the Open PM² community. These volunteers have ensured that the guide retains its core principles and usability while catering to the linguistic needs of Francophone users.
This edition introduces translation of a new appendix on Sustainability, Data Protection, IT Security, and UX in project management, addressing key contemporary challenges. The release also includes updates for improved clarity, in line with the continuous effort to maintain a high-quality resource.
Interested professionals can now download the French version of the PM² Guide v3.1 from the EU Publication Office website.
