The Interoperable Europe Academy Seasonal School is an online flagship learning event dedicated to the practical implementation of the Interoperable Europe Act. It is organised by the European Commission and it brings together public servants from all levels of government, EU institutions, students, and practitioners from Europe to share experiences, tackle real-world challenges, and learn how to turn interoperability principles into practice.

This year, the event’s theme is “How to Develop an Interoperable Digital Public Service” and it focuses on the comprehensive journey of creating interoperable digital public services: from policy design to service implementation and governance.

As a part of the rich agenda which includes expert-led sessions, interactive workshops, and opportunities for peer exchange, the participants will have a chance to get acquainted with the European Commission’s PM² Methodologies. During the first day of the event, the session ‘Organisational Methodologies for Europe’ led by Nicos Kourounakis, Methodology Expert from DIGIT, will present the PM² Methodologies as a practical approach for managing small or large projects in a structured and effective way.

The session will clarify key terms, address common misconceptions in project management and highlight selected PM² best practices. It will also introduce participants to a European Commission resource hub where they could immediately access additional materials on project, programme and portfolio management.

The Seasonal School will take place on 9 and 10 June and it will be fully online. The registration is open at Registration: Seasonal School 2026 – annual event | Interoperable Europe Portal
