Release of the PM² Programme Management Overview, 2025 Edition

About the new web guide format 

The PM² Programme Management Overview is now presented as an online guide, offering greater accessibility and convenience. It can be viewed directly from any web browser and on multiple devices. The format complies with the European Accessibility Act, ensuring inclusivity for all users, including those with disabilities. Features include a side navigation panel, a continuous reading layout, and direct URL sharing for each section. The digital format also enables rapid updates and corrections, maintaining the guide’s currency and accuracy over time. 

About the 2025 Edition 

Initially developed by the European Commission for internal project management, the PM² methodologies have since evolved to serve organisations of various sizes and sectors across Europe and beyond. This expansion signifies a natural progression from a project-focused framework to a broader approach encompassing programme and portfolio management, thus supporting more integrated organisational performance. 

The continuous enhancement of PM² ensures its alignment with the needs of complex and evolving environments. The 2025 Edition reflects this maturity and coherence across the methodology suite, with the PM²-PgM Overview being the first release in this updated series.
